Sherry Dann, MS, CCTP, EMDR
Resident in Counseling
Every story matters. Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming at times, whether you’re navigating past trauma, struggling with anxiety or depression, or working through relationship conflicts. No matter where you find yourself right now, healing is possible. As a therapist, I believe in creating a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Together, we will explore your story with compassion and curiosity, uncovering the strengths and resilience that already exist within you. You don’t have to walk this path alone—I’m here to help you move toward healing, connection, and growth.
I’m Sherry, a Resident in Counseling offering compassionate and trauma-focused telehealth therapy for adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, am EMDR-trained, and am working toward becoming a Certified Trauma Practitioner, bringing both expertise and genuine care to my work.
My approach is rooted in attachment theory, recognizing the deep impact of our relationships on emotional well-being. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, suicide ideation, and relationship challenges. Using evidence-based approaches like Emotionally Focused Therapy, DBT, CBT, and The Gottman Method, I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs, empowering you to move toward healing, connection, and personal growth.
To make therapy accessible and convenient, I offer virtual telehealth sessions, allowing you to connect from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Telehealth provides the flexibility to fit therapy into your life, removing barriers like commute time and scheduling conflicts so you can focus on what truly matters—your well-being.
Outside of therapy, I cherish time with my family and our two lively labradoodles. I also have a love for adventure—whether that means traveling to new places or hiking through nature’s beauty.
I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your path to healing.
Let’s begin your journey—because your story matters

Alexa Fisher, BA, CCTP
Counseling Intern
My name is Alexa Fisher, an intern working under the clinical supervision of Kimberly Van Etten, M.A., LPC, CCTP II of Mauli'Ola Therapy. I’ve always been passionate about becoming a counselor and being able to provide a safe space for individuals to feel seen and heard. As a counseling intern, I'm here to create a space where you can be yourself. I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating life challenges with compassion and curiosity. I take the time to get to know you, whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or simply feel stuck. I will tailor our work together based on your needs, strengths, and goals.
I’m here to walk alongside you and help you discover more clarity, resilience, and confidence in yourself. My goal is to help you understand yourself better, what's going on beneath the surface, and make sense of the relationships in your life. Therapy doesn't have to feel heavy or intimidating. This is your space to talk it out, breathe, and feel seen.
Things that fill my cup: Family & friends. The beach & sun. Coffee, traveling, and walks.

I am an adventurer, a deep thinker, and a feeler. I am a wife and a mother. My husband and I have two incredible daughters, ages 7 and 2, and a Jack Russel mix named Ruby. In my spare time, you’ll find me at a coffee shop, exploring a local brewery, watching a Korean drama, or spending time with family and friends.
As a counselor, my priority is to create a safe space of respect and empathy. My early work with children facing ADHD, ODD, autism, and learning differences gave me an understanding of the challenges families often face. Recently, I co-led groups for mothers from different backgrounds and walks of life who were experiencing anxiety and depression. Living abroad for several years has given me a love for cultural diversity, and I value the unique story each person brings to the counseling space. I utilize CBT, psychoeducation about the body’s responses to trauma, and mindfulness.
For clients who wish to incorporate their Christian faith into their journey, I welcome that as part of our work together and view it as a meaningful source of strength and encouragement. Above all, my heart is to walk with you as you take steps toward hope, resilience, and healing.
