Debby Carmona-Murphy, M.Ed, CCTP
Resident in Counseling
I am committed to creating a warm and welcoming space where you can feel supported on your journey toward mental wellness. I am passionate about tailoring our time together using a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Play Therapy. You are the expert in your own life, and I am honored to walk alongside you as you explore your thoughts and experiences.
As a proud combat veteran, my guiding principle, “slow is smooth, smooth is fast,” emphasizes taking the time to address the prominent issues affecting your well-being at a pace that feels comfortable for you to excel.
With over five years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating challenges like PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, and ADHD. I am deeply committed to breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health, especially within the first responders community. I genuinely believe that mastering your mind can unlock limitless potential. Whether you are seeking to process your experiences, develop new coping strategies, or simply find a safe space to share your feelings, I am here to support you. When I am not working, you might find me hiking scenic trails, enjoying playful moments with my little one, gathering around a cozy campfire, or sharing laughs with my husband.
